Kate
Operations Manager & Tour Guide
Hailing from Louisville, KY with a 14 year stint in Massachusetts, Kate moved to Maui in May of 2015, and never looked back. She has worked on Maui’s boats, farms, beaches, trails, and mountain roads, treating each day a an opportunity to learn more about this beautiful island.
She’s attended several Maui Mauka Conservation Awareness trainings to gain a deeper knowledge of the island flora, fauna and culture. She has participated in volunteer opportunities such as watching over the critically endangered Hawaiian Hawksbill sea turtle nests, harvesting and re-planting endemic species in the Auwahi Forest Restoration Project, returning the Waihe’e Coastal Dunes to it native existence with Hawaii Land Trust, and assisting with Haku Baldwin Center’s equine therapy programs.
Kate is a professional photographer and underwater free diver, with a knack for the small details.— a bird call, a shift in the clouds, an octopus tucked into the reef, or a shark hiding in a cave.
For Kate, guiding is not about reciting a script. It is about helping people notice more, and connect with the island in a real way. “My hope is that guests leave with a deeper sense of Maui — not just the checklist version.”

Shannon
Tour Guide
“Aloha! I’m Shannon. I’ve been coming to Hawaiʻi all my life and have called Maui home since 2015. I’m endlessly inspired by the island’s beauty, people, and culture, and I love sharing that connection with visitors.
A tour with me is all about talk story — weaving together language, culture, and local insight as we explore my favorite places on the planet. Each experience is unique, shaped by what you want to see and feel — whether that’s chasing waterfalls, wandering through lush jungle, or walking barefoot on black, white, or red sand beaches.
When I’m not guiding, I work as a florist, wedding planner, and photographer, so you can count on me to capture stunning photos along the way and share stories about Maui’s amazing flora and fauna.
Come explore Maui with me and see why this island truly has my heart. 🌺”

Travis
Tour Guide
“Originally from Texas, I spent years moving around the United States before finally finding home in Hawaii. After visiting Maui on vacation, I knew I had found a place unlike anywhere else — and I never left. My passion for music, travel, and adventure naturally led me to a career where I can share the beauty and spirit of Maui with others. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing people experience the island for the first time and helping create memories that last long after their trip ends.”
